Alfred Dunhill ST JAMES’S
WALKING CANE
The pan-ultimate Gentleman’s luxury accessory.
A unique, magnificient piece - only one walking cane of this
version exists world-wide. The Sterling Silver and gold mounted head of the St
James Walking Cane cleverly conceals a Dunhill White Spot pipe.
The overall length of the cane is 1 meter and has been created
by laminating both beech and maple wood. This method of manufacture makes it
light in weight, yet very robust.
The balance of the cane is compensated with the addition of a
handle hand-crafted in Sterling Silver and 9ct Rose Gold that forms a hinged
container for the pipe. By pressing a rose gold button with Onyx cabochon a
quick release mechanism elevates the pipe from its royal blue leather lined
keep.
The handle has been ornately hand-engraved with intricate scroll
work by one of England’s best master engravers and two fine rose gold bands set
with a total of 3.21 carat of black diamonds beautify the outstanding
craftsmanship.
The pipe is an Amber Root Billiard in group 4 with its
mouthpiece being specially tapered to fit the walking cane. Additionally, a
Sterling Silver band has been flush inserted into the top of the rim.
