Characterisation:
The Original Warehouseblend Imagine is a dark to medium brown Ready Rubbed Flake with lighter proportions. The sweet and sour scent reveals the Perique, but reminds less of the typical Essignote, but of red currants and slightly alcoholic. Since the Ready Rubbed pieces are very elastic, it is worthwhile to make the smoking process easier before the plug is allowed to dry for an hour.
Plugging:
Like any Ready Rubbed, the Original Warehouseblend Imagine should be stuffed with a certain amount of attention, but pressed tobaccos tend to expand under the flame heat. One should therefore keep attention to fill the pipe not too tightly and not too high - so there will be no problems later. If a few loose tobacco crumbs are crumbled on the filling, it is also easier to light.
Light up:
The Original Warehouseblend Imagine needs two flames in addition to the pre-drying, as does the smoothening use of the tamper in order to produce an even embers, but if the tobacco burns once, so you have no further problems with it.
Smoking properties:
The Original Warehouseblend Imagine surprises with a mild smoke, in which, however, a distinct spicy note plays. Smoked cool you can taste a pleasant sweetness coupled with bread aromas. If you puff more eager at the pipe, the tobacco becomes not as sharp or burns on the tongue, as one might think of a Virginia-Perique mixture, but it intensifies its spicy flavor. The smoker of the Original Warehouseblend Imagine thus has the opportunity to control the taste of the tobacco by its own smoking behavior, which can be a quite interesting experience. The remaining ash is of medium gray color and contains some unburnt tobacco crumbs, but hardly condensation, which makes cleaning very simple.
Redolency:
The smell in the room of the Original Warehouseblend Imagine is for tobacco and perique-spicy, so that the tobacco is more suitable for tolerant or also smoking society.
Conclusion:
The Original Warehouseblend Imagine is a darker Ready Rubbed scented after redcurrants, which should be pre-dried due to its elasticity. Also its taste intensity, which can be controlled by the smoking behavior makes the Original Warehouseblend Imagine interesting for more experienced smokers, although its strength is in the moderate range. If the tobacco is smoked cool, it will find its lovers by its typical bread and roasted aromas and its natural sweetness, precisely because of the interesting pairing with the distinct perique-spice.
