The story behind the name
Father and son Fuente worked side by side and decided to honor their family legacy by using their surname twice—Fuente Fuente. “Opus,” derived from Latin for “work of art,” reflects the cigar’s exceptional quality. The final “X” traces back to the original Project X, the code name under which their pioneering Dominican tobacco plantings began.

The Arturo Fuente Opus X Perfecxion 888 is a long, slender Lonsdale format cigar measuring approximately 175 mm in length with a ring gauge of 44. All tobaccos are sourced from the Dominican Republic and handcrafted at the renowned Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. This cigar is known for its complex, aromatic profile featuring notes of vanilla, cinnamon, nuts, and cedarwood, complemented by subtle sweetness and delicate coffee undertones.
