Solis With the La Flor Dominicana Solis, Litto Gomez Jr., son of the legendary cigar maker Litto Gomez and brother of Tony Gomez, presents his first own masterpiece for the renowned house of La Flor Dominicana. The name Solis is derived from the Latin word sol – "sun" – and symbolizes the radiant energy, passion, and vitality that characterize this cigar. The Solis was created during Litto Jr.'s study breaks, which he spent at the family business in Tamboril, Dominican Republic. Under the guidance of his father and with artistic support from his brother, he developed a composition over years that combines both tradition and youthful creativity. Inspired by Tony's work on the La Nox, Litto Jr. created the sunny counterpart – bright, powerful, and energetic.
The Solis impresses with its sun-kissed H-2000 wrapper from Ecuador, combined with a binder from Ecuador and Dominican filler tobaccos from the company's own La Canela farm. The result is a full-bodied, powerful cigar with a distinctly spicy and complex aroma reminiscent of sun-dried spices, earth, and subtle roasted notes. Rolled in the elegant Toro Extra format (6 ½ x 50), the Solis offers an intense smoking experience for connoisseurs who appreciate character, depth, and craftsmanship. The elegant packaging – designed by Tony Gomez – rounds off the overall picture of this extraordinary creation. The La Flor Dominicana Solis is more than just a cigar – it is a symbol of the rise of a new generation within the Gomez family and a tribute to the light that inspires each of their creations: the sun.
