DANSKE CLUB Summer Edition is made according to an old, traditional recipe. Hand-picked Virginia and Burley tobaccos, Black Cavendish and high-quality Virginia flakes complement this summery blend.
Caramel and coconut flavors round off the pipe tobacco.

Characterisation:
The Summer Edition is firmly pressed into the pouch, but can be easily loosened. The mixture is mainly composed of long and curly cut medium and light brown fibers with some black-brown fibers mixed in. In between there are interspersed Ready Rubbed pieces, some of which are very coarse. The juicy-sweet scent hints the coconut aroma in the background. Since the tobacco is a bit damp due to the aromatization, you can let it dry for a short time before you give the Summer Edition in the pipe.
Plugging:
Since the Summer Edition contains coarser Ready Rubbed, a larger pipe bowl is recommended, which gives the tobacco room to develop. You can also rub the pieces loose a bit before you start plugging. Otherwise, the Summer Edition can be plugged according to the principle: loose at the bottom - tighter at the top.
Light up:
The Summer Edition doesn't require much to light up. After the first flame, gently smooth the rising fibers with the tamper, then a second flame and the surface burns evenly.
Smoking properties:
The Summer Edition immediately delivers a sweet, luscious smoke, with nutty notes coating the tongue like frosting. In addition, the strong basic tobaccos can also be tasted, which enrich the course of the smoke with their spice, so that a harmonious taste develops. In contrast to some flavored tobacco, the Summer Edition also forgives careless smoking. It leaves no hotness or bite on the tongue - on the contrary, a subtle aftertaste of coconut macaroons lingers when the pipe expires. The medium-gray ash tends to stick in the pipe, but beyond that it hardly makes any cleaning work.
Redolency:
The room note of the Summer Edition is characterized by the sweet aroma, so that the tobacco should not displease at least tolerant non-smokers.
Conclusion:
The somewhat inconsistent cut of the blend requires some attention when preparing, but the Summer Edition is less of a hassle to smoke. As promised, the aroma is a creamy mixture of sweetness and nuttiness, which nevertheless leaves enough room for the spicy basic tobaccos. This and the medium strength make the mixture suitable for many smokers who are interested in an unusual aroma or who are looking for a tobacco that - given a little care - is also suitable for beginners.
