A highly aromatic blend of different Virginia grades and double fermented Black Cavendish. A unique flavour of roasted almonds combined with vanilla emphasizes the intensive smell of this delightlyful aroma.
Characterisation:
Ilsteds Own No. 66 is a mixture of medium brown and black tobaccos, which immediately gives off an intensive, aromatic smell of vanilla and almond by opening the tin. The tobacco is cut small and in different length. The humidity is optimal.
Plugging:
This mixture could be plugged easily, whereby one should pay attention to plug not to compressed.
Light up:
The tobacco could be light up easy with one to two flames and doesn’t tend to straighten up.
Smoking properties:
The high amount of Virginia and aromas make it necessary to pay some attention to the temperature of the tobacco. This tobacco is sensitive against smoking too hot, what it’ll prosecute with an acidly biting on the tongue! Smoked slowly and cool it develops it’s strong, but pleasing taste of vanilla and almond. Thereby the aroma is nearly constant up to the end. While burning down the tobacco develops some condensate, which could be regulated with the draw frequency. At the end the aroma will decrease a little bit. A balance of medium grey ash remains.
Redolency:
The redolence is strongly dominated by the aroma of vanilla and a little bit by almond. The real smell of tobacco will be eliminated completely by the aromas. The Ilsteds Own No. 66 is a typical tobacco for societies, which should be welcome in the most surroundings.

Ilsteds Own No. 66 is a highly aromatic mixture with the popular aroma of vanilla mixed with almond. In due to the high amount of Virginia this mixture needs some attention regarding the temperature. Smoking too hot will be prosecuted with an acidly biting on the tongue, smoked slowly and cool it is an aromatic pleasure. Burning down is rather slow with a little bit condensate, what could be regulated with the draw frequency. The aroma will decrease at the end but keeps definitely remarkable. This tobacco is suited for advanced smokers, who’ll like to enjoy highly aromatic mixtures. Beginners should enjoy it with attention and a little bit carefully.
