Manufacturer Description:
This glorious mixture of Cavendish, Virginia and Carolina Burley carries an irresistible aroma of vanilla, Passion fruit and exotic citrus.
Characterisation:
By opening the tin the Guilty Pleasure represent itself as a medium brown, rather fine cut mixture. The fruity aroma of passion fruit and a note of citrus are immediately remarkable and displaces any smell of tobacco. Vanilla only refines the smell and isn’t foregrounding. The tobacco feels mellow and good conditioned.
Plugging:
Due to the cut the tobacco could be plugged easy with any for mixtures suited method.
Light up:
The Guilty Pleasure could be light up with one to two flames, but than it tends to straighten up a while. It must be pressed down gently a few time with the tamper, but usually it’s not necessary to light up again.
Smoking properties:
As soon as the tobacco glows the fruity aroma is definitely remarkable: A slightly acidly note of citrus, a sweetly nuance of vanilla and the dominating taste of passion fruit. While burning down the flavours combine with the taste of nutty tobacco and soften the aroma to result in a pleasing, well-balanced taste. The aroma is nearly constant up to the end. The tobacco glows down without any problem, not tending to get hot and with less condensate to a balance of fine, medium grey ash.
Redolency:
The redolence is fruity from passion fruit with a mild sweetness of vanilla too. The smell of a typical aromatic mixture, which will be willingly “sniffed” by the surrounding. The Guilty Pleasure is a good tobacco for any society.
Conclusion:
The medium brown mixture with the dominating passion fruit aroma is both in taste and redolence a pleasing fruity tobacco with a hint of vanilla und some nutty taste of tobacco. Burning down is constant and uncomplicated. In spite of the explicit aroma the tobacco glows down cool and with less condensate. The redolence is pleasing and unobtrusive. The light mixture is suited for beginners and for enthusiasts of flavoured mixtures where the tobacco shouldn’t be missed out too.
