Manufacturer Description:
Tobaccos have always had sonorous names. Climate and soil-quality in Brazil produce magnificent, spicy and aromatic tobaccos, which are not always to be described as “full”. The full-aromatic fragrance of the Brasil-cigar can be found in our FLOR FINA, which we have compiled from the high quality medium of various Brazilian tobaccos. Suitable for medium and large pipes.
Characterisation:
The long and medium-cut fibers of the Flor Fina are crinkly and evenly fawn and medium brown. In fact, in the cold scent are aromas known from good cigars like dark chocolate and dried fruits. When opening the tin, the Flor Fina seems almost too dry, so you should transfer the tobacco in an absolutely airtight container, so you can store it longer.
Plugging:
The Flor Fina is, as usual with loose tobacco, stuffed down loose beginning. At the top you should plug firmer. More is not needed to ensure an even burning.
Light up:
Due to the rather dry texture of the Flor Fina, a single flame is enough for an uniform glow. After a short patting down, the tobacco burns down to the end.
Smoking properties:
The smoke of the Flor Fina is lush and creamy filling the mouth, but it is vigorously spicy. Striking is a tart-sour note, which makes one think of the cigars mentioned by the manufacturer. With attentive smoking are also aromas to taste of leather and wood seeming cigar-like. If you occasionally bring the embers with the tamper to the tobacco, the Flor Fina burns down without any problems. The ashes left behind are light and fine, but somewhat caked together. However, with the thorn of the tamper, it can be easily solved. Condensate is hardly noticeable, so that the cleaning is no much efford.
Redolency:
The scent of Flor Fina is tobacco-like and reminds of cigars. So one should enjoy this strong tobacco in smoking company, alone or in the fresh air.
Conclusion:
The crinkled Flor Fina is a reddish-brown tobacco, whose cigar-like cold scent already suggests that similar flavors can be found in the smoke. And indeed, the Flor Fina is a creamy-spicy tobacco with tart and sour notes, which - like the echoes of leather and wood - make one think of good cigars. Curious and lovers of strong flavors, who also smoke a cigar sometimes should definitely have tried the Flor Fina once.
