W.Ø. Larsen Craftsmans Edition 151 Years Pipe tobacco 100g Tin

Since 1864 W.Ø. Larsen employs only the best mixers, so that the highest quality can be guaranteed for the premium pipe-tobacco. On the occasion of the 151th anniversary of the tradition of continuous pursuit of perfection, W.Ø. Larsen created a limited edition of a Craftsmans edition.

Characterisation:
The Craftmans Edition 2015 is noble, but not necessarily handy packed. The chic elongated tin has a plug cover without rubber seal and the cellophane bag in which the tobacco is located is welded, but can not be resealed, which recommends to refill into an airtight container. The tobacco is medium brown with less light and dark portions, which are rather cutted irregular and longer, while the Ready Rubbed pieces are a little coarse. The scent is sweet after vanilla, with a more spicy component of orange and cloves. The humidity is almost perfect and the tobacco can be smoked immediately.

Plugging:
The Craftmans Edition 2015 is a Mixture with different, but all rather coarse components, which is why the tobacco should not be plugged too tight. All-size components should be grated, at least in the upper part of the filling, so that the flame can quickly become embers.

Light up:
To ignite the Craftmans Edition 2015 evenly, a single flame is sufficient, which, despite its differently compact components, does not rise as much as would have been expected.

Smoking  properties:
The Craftmans Edition 2015 is uniting seemingly opposites in itself. Thus the smoke, which flows over the tongue, is very soft, but is clearly spicy. Under this smokiness is the delicate vanilla, which adds a sweet sweetness, while the tongue is glaced with a delicate, resinous, and at the same time velvety aroma, which is more reminiscent of maple syrup, as of caramel, which is by no means to be understood as a stain. While for many flavored tobaccos the main focus is on the aroma, the Craftmans Edition 2015 offers an interplay of gentleness and spice, which makes the smoking interesting, without requiring great attention. The burn of the Craftmans Edition 2015 is remarkably cool, calm and resistant in the aroma. Also, the tobacco leaves hardly any condensation and only medium gray ash flakes in the pipe.

Redolency:
The room note of the Craftsman Edition 2015 is the sweet "typical smell of pipe smoke" of a flavored tobacco, and is also very popular with non-smokers.

Conclusion:
The Craftmans Edition 2015 is a predominantly medium brown tobacco mixed with Ready Rubbed concealed in a noble tin. If you want to preserve the fine aroma and the perfect moisture, you should take the trouble to put the tobacco in an airtight container. This is a worthwhile procedure, because the Craftmans Edition 2015 is only apparently with typical flavors, which do not necessarily promise novel tastes. Vanilla and caramel probably anyone had in the pipe, who flavored tobaccos not completely avoids. But this tobacco unites seemingly incompatible. It is spicy and mild, delicately sweet and yet tobacco-genuine, with the flavors used appearing more natural and distinctive than with many classic vanilla tobaccos. Indeed, even resinous, tart components find their place in this tobacco, and combine in the most exquisite with the velvety smoke. The Craftmans Edition 2015 is not necessarily aimed at the sweet-toothed, but perhaps this makes it also interesting for fastidious palates.
