Characterisation:
The Black Edition Virginia is packed in a black metal box reminiscent of a Bentley hood, with a hinged lid. Although the tobacco is additionally in a vacuum-sealed aluminum bag, but this can not be hermetically sealed again, so that you should transfer the opened tobacco for longer storage in another container. Opening the pack, the scent is surprisingly sweet, reminiscent of cherries, dried fruit and chocolate - the manufacturer does not mention any flavor. The medium-brown tobacco interspersed with darker parts looks a bit damp, but it is suitable to be stuffed immediately.
Plugging:
The Black Edition Virginia, as usual for loose Mixtures, can be plugged underneath loosely and tighter upwards. However, you should not fill the pipe too full, as the tobacco tends to expands under the flame.
Light up:
As it was to be observed while plugging, the Black Edition Virginia rises slightly under the flame, so you should smooth the surface gently with the tamper before you give fire again evenly.
Smoking properties:
The Black Edition Virginia has more power than expected in the description of the manufacturer. It is not strong, but the smoke is lush and clearly tobacco-spicy. So not necessarily "lovely", as the manufacturer indicates, but this is pleasantly rounded by a pleasant nuttyness and subtle sweetness, which are probably attributable to the Black Cavendish. Unlike many Virginias, the Black Edition Virginia smokes without the peculiarities of this type of tobacco often assumed - neither tongue-burning nor gargling affects the smoking process. In the end, only a little flaky, medium gray ash and condensate remains.
Redolency:
The redolence for real tobacco recommends the Black Edition Virginia for very tolerant or smoking society.
Conclusion:
The Black Edition Virginia is a dark, brown Mixture, whose sweet, appetizing scent makes you think of a flavored tobacco. In fact, the luscious smoke is spicy and quite strong in the taste. Paired with a pleasant sweet nuttiness, it creates an uncomplicated tobacco that suits every smoker (if he appreciates natural flavors) and every occasion.
