Manufacturer Description:
Africa the black continent, like no other part of the earth, mysticism and modernity, different cultures and ways of life, but also poverty and misery. Wars, hunger, corruption are the hallmarks of this flayed continent, as well as natural beauty, lush vegetation and pride. The "Out of Africa" Ready Rubbed Flake interprets this variety with wide taste variations, ranging between fruity - tart, exhilarated and sweet. Strong Burley grades as well as dark-pressed Virginia and a touch of Perique form the tobacco base for the discreet but seductive flavor that characterizes this Broken Flake. The "Out of Africa" is an interesting and complex tribute to this part of the world and to friends of the highest quality tobacco mixtures. ... the small stars always shine while the great sun goes down (Senegal).

Characterisation:
The Blender's Pride Out of Africa is a Ready Rubbed tobacco, made up of very narrow and short-cut pieces, which are rubbed out well. The predominant color is a rich dark brown with light brown and medium brown parts. The scent is pleasant to red fruits, reminiscent of cherries, which is not surprising due to the aromatization with the fruity hibiscus blossom, but the ground tobaccos are also sweet and warm. The tobacco is not moist between the fingers, but should be somewhat pre-dried before smoking.

Plugging:
The Blender's Pride Out of Africa tends to rise under the heat of the flame. Therefore, do not put the tobacco too tightly into the pipe and leave enough space to the top, since the burning tobacco could swell and trickle out.

Light up:
Under the first flame, the tobacco swells strongly, so that the Blender's Pride Out of Africa must be gently pressed back into the tobacco chamber before fire is given again. The surface should be smoothed to create a uniform surface and embers. With some practice, however, this becomes increasingly easier; in addition, the tobacco burns down well evenly.

Smoking  properties:
After these worthwhile preparations, one tastes less of a flavor than a mildly spicy tobacco, with gentle Virginia roasted notes and a typical Burley nuttyness. The smoke is smooth and round. This property of the Blender's Pride Out of Africa is supported by the aroma used, which reaches until the end of the filling. The hibiscus does not, however, obtrude, only in the background lends it a fine sweetness and slightly fruity juiciness, which harmonize nicely with the used tobaccos. The remains are medium gray ash, some unburnt tobacco crumbs, and – surprisingly for a flavored tobacco - almost no condensate.

Redolency:
The Blender's Pride Out of Africa's aroma in the room is slightly sweet in addition to the smell of tobacco and can therefore be accepted in a non-smoking but tolerant society.

Conclusion:
The Blender's Pride Out of Africa is a thoroughly rubbed, mostly dark brown Ready Rubbed, which makes some effords in the preparation, but in the further smoking course is completely uncomplicated. The natural aromas of the medium-strong tobaccos of mild spices, toasted bread and nuts are harmoniously accompanied by the hibiscus aroma used, which provides for a very delicate yet at the same time juicy fruit-sweetness. The aroma is really discreetly used, so that this tobacco is mainly aimed at smokers, who do not look for a sweet dessert, but a softly flavored tobacco, which is still quite natural.
