Characterisation:
Because the Geniet Moment is packed in a round tin with a pressure lid, so you can store it for a long time. The color of the rather short and broad cut fibers is predominantly black-brown with light brown parts. The scent is sweet and surprisingly almost fruity, in the background are subtle vanilla and coffee to smell. The tobacco looks slightly sticky, but does not have to be pre-dried for a very long time.
Plugging:
As a loose Mixture and due to the rather short cut tobacco fibers, the Geniet Moment is very easy to plug. First, you fill the tobacco loosely in and towards the top gently firmer.
Light up:
As simple as plugging, so simple is the lighting of the Geniet Moment. Usually a single flame is sufficient to achieve an uniform glow, which you only have to press gently with the tamper once more.
Smoking properties:
The smoke of the Geniet Moment is creamy and nestles softly on the palate and tongue, like a milk-coffee with vanilla flavor. But the aroma does not seem intrusive, but balanced, as you would expect from a good flavored tobacco. So you can taste a roasted note, which harmonizes wonderfully with the coffee, with which one also associates roasted aromas and the rather cool smoke gives the impression of milk froth. The fact that the aromas also last until the last third of the filling, before the roasted aromas become clearer is another plus of the Geniet Moment. Remaining is fine, light ash and unfortunately some condensate, which requires by its stickiness the more intensive use of the cleaner, but this is also the only disadvantage of this otherwise completely uncomplicated tobacco.
Redolency:
The redolence of the Geniet Moment is marked by the aroma and reminds non-smokers above all by the vanilla of "typical pipe fragrance”, whereby the Geniet Moment in tolerant society quite gladly can be seen.
Conclusion:
The predominantly black-brown Geniet Moment is easy to plug, ignite and smoke. The aroma used by the manufacturer, which, by its unobtrusive nature, awakens pleasant associations with finely roasted coffee with vanilla milk froth, is convincing. As the name promises (Dutch: moment of pleasure), the Geniet Moment is actually very suitable for the moments in which you want to relish something sweet. For connoisseurs of flavored but not artificial MIxtures, the Geniet Moment is a tobacco that can inspire.
