Manufacturer Description:
Highly aromatic tobacco cubes rest like little jewels in a bed of velvety Black Cavendish surrounded by the fragrance of premium fruit essences. The brilliant flavour combines with high-grade tobaccos into an extraordinary and extensive tasting experience.
Characterisation:
Already the presentation of the Blue Sapphire is very noble. The tobacco comes in a square dark blue tin, the hinged lid is decorated with the company's coat of arms. In the tin in a golden cellophane bag is the tobacco. Since the bag is difficult to reseal with the diamond-shaped sticker and the tin itself is not airtight, for a longer storage you should fill the tobacco at least in a better sealable container. The sight of the tobacco is again very beautiful: as described by the manufacturer medium and light brown cubes mix very evenly with dark brown, short-cut fibers, under which, however, sometimes very large leaf ribs are found. The opened packet releases a slightly alcoholic, sweetish-fruity scent. Since the tobacco feels nice and loose between the fingers, it does not need to be pre-dried.
Plugging:
The plugging of the Blue Sapphire is very simple, because of the small-sized cut you can easily let the tobacco trickle into the pipe, but that's why you should be careful not to plug the pipe too loose, otherwise no good puffing is the resuilt.
Light up:
Despite the unusual cut, the Blue Sapphire is relatively easy to ignite. After two flames and a gentle push with the tamper, the more compact cubes glow and ensure a quiet burning.
Smoking properties:
The Blue Sapphire is remarkably mild and shows a very soft smoke. The gentle tobacco spice combines pleasantly with toasted notes and a slight nuttyness, which are certainly not due solely to the specified Cavendish. For the fact that the manufacturer clearly indicates only the use of this flavored tobacco, the Blue Sapphire is not intensely flavored. Only the striking mildness and softness and a more subtle sweetness give to think of a flavored tobacco. The overall quiet burning, however, occasionally requires the gentle use of the tamper due to the small-scale cut, but makes otherwise remarkably few circumstances. The cleaning of the ash and the few condensate is not difficult.
Redolency:
In the room, the Blue Sapphire produces a slightly sweet aroma, so that it should not attract attention in tolerant society.
Conclusion:
The Blue Sapphire is quite easy to handle, despite the interesting picture of brighter Cube Cut mixed with dark short cut. The moderate strength and the mild aromas make it easy for the ambitious beginner to enjoy the Blue Sapphire. In addition to roasted notes and hints of nut, the aroma is pleasantly integrated into the background, so that you will not be overwhelmed by a sweet Mixture or tart tobacco. Since tobacco is a good companion for every occasion, even more experienced smokers who do not necessarily favor strongly flavored compounds will not be disappointed by Blue Sapphire.
