Characterisation:
The Virginia Mysore 1.6mm is a light and medium brown Loose Cut, which is as the name suggests cut in fine and also long fibers. Fresh out of the tin the tobacco smells like a Red Fruit tea blend or like a dark bread with fruit and nuts. The tobacco is almost a little damp, but is not sticky and does just need to be pre-dried a little briefly before smoking.
Plugging:
The Virginia Mysore 1.6mm should be packed carefully because of the long fibers. So no "balls" are formed. Otherwise start loose down and tighter getting upward with gentle pressure.
Light up:
Two flames and a gentle use of the tamper in between suffice to the Virginia Mysore 1.6mm to ignite uniformly.
Smoking properties:
The Virginia Mysore 1,6mm is more spicy in the smoke, as specified by the manufacturer. Significant tobacco flavors are also to taste as smoky components. But actually the Virginia Mysore 1.6mm is one of the gentler representatives of Virginias, because in addition to its moderate strength will provide pleasant notes of roasted bread well as a hint of wholemeal biscuits sweetness for a mild smoking pleasure. However, you can also smoke it pure, with its uncomplicated style and its fine, smoky sweetness both beginners as well as experienced smokers will enjoy.
