Manufacturer Description:
A Mixture of medium strength Latakia, Virginia and Oriental tobaccos provides a very gentle aroma.
Characterisation:
The Heritage Piccadilly Circus is a mixture of light, medium and dark brown tobaccos. These are cut rather short and medium-wide. The scent that rises from the freshly opened tin is strongly smoky, earthy and reminiscent of autumn leaves. Despite the tight pressure in the tin, the tobacco is not too moist or even sticky and can be plugged immediately.
Plugging:
The Heritage Piccadilly Circus can simply be plugged loosely at the bottom of the pipe and with gentle pressure upwards. The following burning is then just as uncomplicated.
Light up:
Just as easy as plugging is the lighting up. Almost one is astonished to find that a single flame is enough to bring the surface to an even and steady glow.
Smoking properties:
The smoke of the Heritage Piccadilly Circus is full without being heavy. On the contrary, it looks juicy and sparkling, with a mild spiciness and a trace of natural sweetness. Especially the fresh-spicy Latakia contributes to the lightness and almost peppermint-coolness of the smoke. This, however, is pleasantly in the background, while the Virginia with smokiness, toasted bread and nut sets the tone, finely varied by the grass and leather notes of the Oriental tobacco. The burn is remarkably calm, uncomplicated and leaves only medium gray fine ashes and only very little condensate, which also makes the cleaning very simple.
Redolency:
The redolence of the Heritage Piccadilly Circus is for tobacco and tart especially by the oriental tobaccos, which makes the it not necessarily suitable for non-smoking societies.
Conclusion:
The Heritage Piccadilly Circus, made up of cuts in all shades of brown, reveals itself as a typical English mixture thanks to the earthy autumnal scent. Due to its easy handling, the Heritage Piccadilly Circus is also suitable for beginners, however, they should appreciate such a superbly blended tobacco, because for smoking by the way - which could do - the Heritage Piccadilly Circus is too bad. Its taste is lush and soft, yet smoky and spicy, with gentle natural sweetness and milder roasted and nut flavors mingling with grass and leathery notes; all held together by a fresh-cooling Latakia whiff that literally crowns the experience and makes this tobacco something special. An explicit recommendation for lovers of English mixtures or those who want to become one!
