Manufacturer Description:
This comparative mellow, but flavourful mixture was composed with a main part of velvety Black Cavendish, different bright Virginias with a fine account of citrus and nuttily Burley, refined with luscious flavours of scent vanilla, seasoned mirabelle and cappuccino.
Characterisation:
While opening, the well mixed and luscious flavour streams out of the black tin. The first impression is vanilla and mirabelle and something else... perhaps cappuccino? But rather subliminal. The a little bit wild and coloured mixture with different cuts seems to be subjective slightly dampish, but the sense between the fingers is very well.
Plugging:
Due to the different cuts it may be a good idea to plug the tobacco in portions, twisted to applicable bowls and pluged fluffily into the tobacco chamber. Each ball should be pressed a little bit down and towards the walls to assure a constant glow. The last bowl could be pressed a little bit more, but carefully so that the airflow gets not to much resistance.
Light up:
Good light up behavior. The surface will glow with the first flame, but after a short while it’ll die down, if you don’t smoke heavy at the beginning. With the second flame and after flattening the surface of the tobacco, it’ll glow well and permanently.
Smoking properties:
The fruity aroma could be realised immediatly after light up the tobacco. An explicit taste of mirabelle and some fractions of lemon from the Virginia, which may leave a lightly, acidly taste on the tongue. This tobacco wants to be smoked slowly, otherwise the Virgina will get stale and the mellow flavour of fruity vanilla will disappear! The tobacco glows without any problems and with out overheating building up a little bit condensate. In the last third the aroma constance reduce and the taste of tobacco and cappuccino comes to the fore, but over all the constancy is good.
Redolency:
The redolency can’t disavow the flavour of vanilla. But the fruity character of mirabelle is explicid noticeable, too. Together the flavours result in a mouth-watering scent, which will quicken the appetite to a tasty pudding with mirabelle... The redolency is dominating over all, but not flashy. A typical tobacco for any society.
Conclusion:
A recommendation for enthusiasts of aromatic tobaccos. Easy to handle and uncomplicated in smoking properties and redolency. A well taste of vanilla, combined with mirabelle and cappuccino makes this tobacco to something special. Not simply an aromatic mixture, but a composition of good tobaccos and interesting aromas. This mixture should be tolerated in any society.
