Manufacturer Description:
Sun yellow, fluffily and highly aromatic. This composition will genteel seduce you and will never lay you to rest. Some sweet Virginias combined with harmonic brown and black, very mellow Cavendish. Dense, opulent and exotic redolence of creamy pina colada, finely rounded with delicious nut aroma. An enjoyment in a class of it’s own, for you and your surrounding.
Characterisation:
Immediately after opening the tin you’ll notice a heavy aromatic flavour, just before you open the pouch. The opened tobacco intensifies extreme this flavour of coconut and a slightly lemon-fruity background – a highly aromatic mixture! The flavour swamps any smell of tobacco out completely. Nevertheless the characterisation of the tobacco is harmonic, a middle to darker brown mixture with normal cut.
Plugging:
Sillem’s Green is easy to plug. In layers, twisted to bowls or loose filled up to the boarder, pressed down to the half and repeated this method as long as the bowl is filled.
Light up:
It’s uncomplicate to light up the tobacco. One flame for the first smoke, carefully squeezing down the surface and one or two more flames to get a constant glow.
Smoking properties:
Sillem’s Green is a good smoking tobacco. Aromatic flavours come obvious to the fore, explicit coconut, but also another, nuttily taste which covers the sweetnes a little bit. Tobacco isn’t noticeable very much, whereas the Cavendish covers possible spikes form the Virginia very well. Smoking slow and with a little bit attention the mixture thanks with a good constancy before it dies down suddenly. At the end grey and dry ash will be left.
Redolency:
The redolency of this tobacco is sweet-exotic, whereas no clearly flavour is definable. Fruity-nuttily is the best description. Pleasant for the surrounding, but a little bit heavy in the air, too.
Conclusion:
A good, highly aromatic mixture which will offer enthusiasts of this kind of tobaccos an interesting smoking experience. The flavours are not explicit separately to recover, but the redolence is pleasant for societies and the smoker himself. Heavy, but not importunately. Unfortunately the fine tobacco composition gets mostly to the background, but this reservation is also a hint for the good quality of the used tobaccos.
