Manufacturer Description:
This mixture is dark and full-bodied, without any strength. It is inestimable for smoking outdoor. Most strong mixtures are stringent and biting, they’re neutralising spicy tobaccos and bring definitely unpleasant feelings. The Accountants’ Mixture is an outstanding exception.
Characterisation:
Opening the tin a medium to darker brown tobacco appears, which get’s a beautiful contrast by some bright Virginia. The smell of the tobacco is strong, spicy and explicit according to Latakia. The cut is rather fine and the mixture feels smooth in an optimal condition.
Plugging:
The Accountants’ Mixture could be plugged easy, whereas one should pay attention to avoid to plug too firmly.
Light up:
The tobacco could be light up easily. With one or two flames the tobacco glows constant. It may be necessary to damp a little bit with the tamper, but the tobacco doesn’t tend much to straighten up.
Smoking properties:
With lighting up the English character, especially the Latakia, attracts attention to itself. The taste is dominated by it, but due to the Virginia and Black Cavendish it attends not unpleasant, but rather sweety-mellowly. The strength of the tobacco remains remarkable. This tobacco should be smoked with a little bit attention, slowly and cool, otherwise it becomes acid-tongued. Due to the fine cut the Accountants’ glows not to slow, but dry and with a constant taste until only a mixture of white and medium grey ash remains.
Redolency:
The English character mainly affects the redolence. The high amount of Latakia is responsible for that too. For enthusiasts of this kind of tobaccos the spicy redolence with its subliminal sweetness is pleasing. By that the tobacco isn’t obtrusive, but nevertheless not suitable for any society.
Conclusion:
A strong, spicy tobacco with English character and an obvious amount of Latakia. A sweetly background of Virginia, Black Cavendish and spicy, but mellowly Latakia combine to a special smoking enjoyment. In spite of the strength this tobacco is tongue-friendly, if smoked with some attention and not too hot. The redolence is typically affected by Latakia, but also with a sweetly note. For enthusiasts of English tobaccos with Latakia this tobacco is both the taste and the redolence an enjoyment – in societies it may be only welcome by like-minded people. For beginners the Accountants’ Mixture is unsuitable too, because beside the English character the strength should be kept in mind too.
