Characterisation:
The Cedros Handblended pipe tobacco from Ilsted is an unusual bright mixture of small, long tobacco streaks, some rip leaf and small curly-cut-slices, but which will break down rather quick. Regarding the smell one shouldn’t let oneself by the smell of the cedar wood: The tobacco smells native, even though a hint of cedar wood and a slight sweetness are remarkable. The anything wild mixture is in optimal condition and feels pleasing mellow.
Plugging:
To plug the tobacco best, it’s recommended to drill amply portions between the fingers to fluffy bowls and plug them also fluffily into the pipe, so that the tobacco fits the wall well.
Light up:
The Ilsteds Own Cedros Handblended pipe tobacco could be light up quiet good, but tends a little bit to straighten up. Dampen down with the temper and light up again with another flame is necessary in most cases. After that the tobacco glows without problems till the end.
Smoking properties:
The tobacco could be smoked as a native mixture. The source of the discreet sweetness is hardly to determine. It could be from both the Virginia and the discreet aroma. An also discreet, spicy note is rounding the taste, so that an interesting interaction occurs. Handling and burning down are uncomplicated. The tobacco glows down slowly and constant with less condensate to a balance of bright grey ash.
Redolency:
The redolence is native with a hint of sweetness. Rather unobtrusive but not unpleasing.

The Ilsteds Own Cedar Handblended pipe tobacco is an interesting, very bright mixture with discreet aroma. The medium strength tobacco has an pleasing sweetly taste with a spicy note. Handling is easy, whereby it should be plugged rather fluffily. Burning down is cool and slow with less condensate to a balance of bright grey ash. The redolence is unobtrusive but not unpleasing. The tobacco is suited for beginners as good as for passionate smoker, who’ll prefer an extensive native tobacco.
