Manufacturer Description:
A soft Virginia tobacco of the highest quality. The Red and Orange Virginia tobaccos from the best provinces spoil you with a completely unobtrusive, finely sweet bouquet. The many different cutting widths guarantee cool and even burns.
Characterisation:
If you open the paper rosette, you can see that the cover paper is not soggy. Underneath, there are evenly mixed short and broad-cut light fibers and longer, narrower-cut, medium-brown tobacco fibers, with a few very short dark fibers distributed among them. The scent, which penetrates the nose intensively, is reminiscent of sweet dried fruit. Since the moisture content is just right, the Trüllerie can be plugged immediately.
Plugging:
Thanks to the cut, the Trüllerie can be very easily plugged loosely at the bottom and becoming tighter towards the edge of the pipe.
Light up:
The cut and the good consistency of the Trüllerie are also advantageous when it is lit. Evenly ignited and smoothed again with the tamper, the second flame creates a permanent ember.
Smoking properties:
As a pure Virginia, the Trüllerie should be kept cool and not smoked too greedily, otherwise it burns down too quickly and can also become hot on the tongue - but not biting. Enjoyed carefully, it reciprocates with a honey-like sweetness. One would almost like to believe that it is after all an aromatization. Spicy and a light note of hay typical of Virginia can also be tasted. Especially when you exhale the smoke through your nose, the smooth taste unfolds in all its sweetness. The smoke is light and so the Trüllerie is not necessarily suitable for walks. Only some medium-grey ash and little condensate are leaved for cleaning.
Redolency:
As the Trüllerie is a pure Virginia, the smell of smoke is also that of natural burnt tobacco. So you should be considerate of non-smoking society.
Conclusion:
The Trüllerie is a well cut and concoctioned mixture and perfectly conditioned to be easy to pack and light. However, one should not be completely inexperienced in handling Virginia tobaccos, as the tobacco wants to be smoked with relish so that it does not get too hot. In the light smoke, the sweet fruit and honey notes that are already perceptible in the cold scent are evident. Light spice and hay join a mild Virginia that is made to be an everyday tobacco.
