Characterisation:
The HH Pure Virginia is usual for its company stacked clean wrapped in gold paper and has the equally typical precise cut. The flakes are evenly marbled light and medium brown, with some pale yellow and dark inclusions. The fragrance is typical sweet for the tobaccos used, reminiscent of hay and bread, as it is known by very good cigarettes of Virginia tobacco. The flakes feel something wet and are thus very elastic, so you should ventilate the fresh tobacco prior to stuffing about ½ hour.
Plugging:
The manufacturer of HH Pure Virginia attaches great importance to the fact that its flakes are all very simple to bend and fold. And so it is. The flake can be easily removed without apply to crumble in the pipe. But of course the HH Pure Virginia can be rubbed out to suit your preference for a Mixture. As with all flakes, it is important not to stuff too hard as the pressed tobacco during ignition slightly rises, but even that keeps the HH Pure Virginia in limits. Leftover crumbs of tobacco as the top layer facilitate the kindling.
Light up:
The HH Pure Virginia can with a little pre-drying be ignited quite well. As so often with flakes, it is advisable to let go out the first glow, smoothen the surface with the tamper slightly to then generate with a further flame an uniform bed of embers, which then also hardly goes out.
Smoking properties:
The HH Pure Virginia offers a dense smoke that transports grassy, fresh flavors, wich remembers almost a bit of mint. This, however, stirred not from the minimum flavoring of the manufacturer, but reveals the natural character of this pure Virginia. One should restrain himself to violently puffing on the pipe, because it could cause a tingling sensation on the tongue otherwise. Genuine tonguebite as it is often threatened in Virginias is not to be expected, even this tobacco tends not for gargling. Depending on the smoking experience, the strength ranges between light and middle. Slowly enjoyed in the course of smoking it opens up a mild, delicate sweetness and pleasantly full bread aromas that adhere to the end of the filling. If the pipe extinguished, only a few unburned tobacco remnants, medium gray ash and almost no condensate are left behind.
Redolency:
The room touch of HH Pure Virginia tobacco is genuine, but rather inconspicuous. Thus, the tobacco is suitable for the enjoyment in a tolerant society.
Conclusion:
The HH Pure Virginia comes, as usual for the producer, perfectly presented as in gold paper embarked carefully cutted and stacked slices. The flakes are regularly marbled light and medium brown with some golden and dark inclusions. The sweet hay fragrance is also found in smoke again, which is fresh grassy to the beginning, and then waving rich bread aromas during smoking. If it is possible to smoke the tobacco with some caution, the HH Pure Virginia is useful as a flake for beginner, because its preparation and its smoking characteristics are uncomplicated. It forgives even typical mistakes of beginners without punishing with gargling or tonguebite. Properties that will be appreciated also by experienced smokers if they are looking for a good Virginia-flake for every day and by the way.
