Manufacturer Description:
A sweet-spicy, natural mixture of Zaire Ready Rubbed, Mysore & Orient grades with a slightly smoky note. Blend of golden Virginia, proportions of medium brown Virginia Ready Rubbed Flake and Orient grades, refined with spicy Kentucky. Without additional flavorings.
Characterisation:
The Naturginia comes in a small round can with a pull-top. To be able to close it again, there is also a plastic lid. The tobacco is a mixture with some bits of Ready Rubbed. It is partially cut in very long fibers, while the proportions of light and darker brown are very evenly, interspersed by a few dark brown fibers. The aroma that rises from the can is sweet and is dominated by dried fruit notes, the contained Orient is not to smell. The moisture content of Naturginia is just right, so that the tobacco can be filled immediately.
Plugging:
Fill the Naturginia like other mixtures looser also below and upwardly firmly into the pipe. It should be filled with some space upward since it tends to rise under the flame.
Light up:
The Naturginia requires some attention when lighting. Two flames are already needed to to ignite it uniformly, and then the Naturginia withstand in the further course of smoking an occasional gentle pressing in with the tamper, as it rises under the flame and so the embers gets better contact with the tobacco.
Smoking properties:
The Naturginia provides the full range of Virginia flavors, as the sweetness of dried fruits, nutty notes and grassy notes, for seasoning ensures Kentucky and the background hovers slightly ethereal and yet full and oily of the Oriental. A thoroughly uniform and harmonious interaction, whereby the mixing ratio of this composition seems almost perfect. The tobacco is medium strong and as easy to smoke, that it – apart of the mentioned occasionally necessity of using the tamper - well suited for any occasion and by the way. Mid-gray ash with a few residues and only some condensate hold the subsequent cleaning in border.
Redolency:
The content of the Oriental in the Naturginia is not very clear to notice in the room, but the smell is real tobacco and smoking requires a tolerant environment.
Conclusion:
The Naturginia is a light and medium brown mixture with some bits of Ready Rubbed and black brown tobacco fibers. The can is completely sealed and has a handy plastic lid for additional storage in the tobacco bar. The aroma from the can is sweet and reminiscent of dried fruit, which can also be found in the smoke. The plugging and ignition requires some attention, but the balanced composition of the aromas of grassy on oily to spicy justifies these efforts. To smoke the Naturginia is so easy that it is well suited for by the way, the average strength predestined it for that. Therefore, be willing to learn beginners and those who want to learn about Oriental tobacco, cope well with the Naturginia.
