No Name No. 3 Pipe tobacco 250g Economy Pack

I’m going “middle of the road” on the rating of this tobacco, if your looking for a good vitamin N offering, it’s not here, what you get is a very reasonable, almost middle of the road Virginia. I was convinced at first that this contained Perique owing to the peppery tongue and mouth feel, however, Tobacco Reviews and the blender, makes no such claim. A friend tried rolling it, but complained of “gum bite” as he has no teeth !!! In all honesty, I’d have to agree with him to an extent, smoking very, very slowly in the pipe seems to alleviate this. In the pipe, it’s extremely mild and inoffensive, perfect for very hot weather when a heavy tobacco is not called for. The tobacco lacks body, taste and flavour in my humble opinion, but then, this could well have been the desired outcome of the blender, a tobacco on the lighter side of all the scales, taste, strength, body and flavour will be just the thing for those with a low nicotine tolerance. Another plus for this blend, is cost, this comes in at a very reasonable price for those of us on a budget. I can’t see myself building up a stockpile of this blend, even though I suffer from chronic TAD (tobacco accumulation disorder) I can certainly see myself having a healthy amount on hand as this is a good all day tobacco that will just about “scratch the itch” if it’s the only thing you stuffed in your pocket on your way out.
