Manufacturer Description:
Light broad cut Virginia, medium brown Burley and a flake with a lovely aroma characterize the friendly image of this mixture. Fruity, sparkling in taste, with a fragrant room note.
Characterisation:
The No name blue is a mixture of narrow and short fibers with pressed tobaccos. While the former are dark brown, the Cubes are medium brown and the narrow-cut Ready Rubbed is marbled dark and light brown. Occasionally, some very broad fibers are also mixed in. The scent is fresh, sweet and reminiscent of exotic fruits. The tobacco should be pre-dried briefly before it is plugged. For longer storage, you should decant the No name blue from the economy pack into an airtight container.
Plugging:
The different sized components of the mix require some attention. It is best to choose a larger pipe bowl, let the No name blue trickle in and only gently press it down at the end.
Light up:
A bit of mindfulness also applies to lighting to avoid later problems. The compressed tobaccos in the No name blue tend to expand under heat, so it may take two to three flames and repeated gentle use of the tamper to achieve a lasting glow. If this is successful, a quiet burn is the result.
Smoking properties:
The No name blue produces a creamy and at the same time powerful smoke. The aroma is not as fruity as the cold scent suggests. It is delicately sweet and also displays an "Irish"-like floral perfume that will appeal to aficionados in particular. However, the basic tobaccos are not covered. The Burley contributes very intense nut aromas, while the Virginia comes up with the hints of hay and toast typical of this tobacco variety. Well prepared, the burning invites you to sit back, relax and smoke with relish. The subsequent cleaning is just as relaxed - only some dark gray ash and little condensate remain in the pipe.
Redolency:
Despite the moderately used aroma in the No name blue, the room note is relatively pleasant even for non-smokers, provided they are tolerant towards smokers.
Conclusion:
The No name blue is a diverse mixture. In different shades of brown and with a fruity scent, loose tobacco mixes with Cubes and Ready Rubbed. Carefully plugged and lit, as is necessary with such mixtures, the tobacco can be smoked in a relaxed manner. The strong toast aromas of Virginia and nutty Burley harmonize with the only slightly fruity, flowery perfumed aroma. This will particularly convince lovers of Irish tobacco. If you have a little experience in handling mixtures, you will get an uncomplicated tobacco with a special aroma with the No name blue.
