Alcohol was only available illegally and in limited quantities, with only pharmacists being allowed to sell it for medicinal purposes. Alchemist Frank M. Farrington from New York cleverly took advantage of this law by selling Remedy Rum in stylish apothecary bottles, thus creating the trendy spirit of the secret New York party scene. To this day, Remedy Rum remains popular and offers a unique drink for every taste with its range of Remedy Spiced Rum, Remedy Pineapple, and Remedy Elixir.
