Characterisation:
The Indian Summer comes depending on weight in a rectangular or in a large round tin with resealable metal lid. In the can waiting a very uniform fawn, long and wide-cut Loose Cut. What is surprising is the dark sweet scent, perfume-like and slightly reminiscent of soap or hand cream. The tobacco is well-conditioned and does not have to be pre-dried.
Plugging:
The Indian Summer is like any loose mixture to be plugged loose becoming tighter by getting upward. Take care to ensure that the filling is compressed not too much, as the Indian Summer straightens under the flame and accordingly requires space. For this reason, you should leave a bit of space to the edge, thus trickle out any burning tobacco strands. A large-volume pipe provides the smoker here enough time to savour this interesting, interacting with each other flavors. What remains is only mid-gray, finer ash and a little condensate.
Redolency:
The room note of Indian Summer is real tobacco and a weak sweetness. Acceptance thus depends on the tolerance limit, the society in which one finds oneself.
Conclusion:
The Indian Summer is a fawn Loose Cut. The longer and wider cut makes it very suitable for larger pipes. If the plug is made with the necessary care, so it makes hardly efford, except the occasional use of the tamper. This and its moderate strength make the Indian Summer also suitable for beginners. The prevailing soapy smell is subtle in the pleasant delicately spicy and floral-sweet smoke. So you can even get a taste in that direction without being killed by this very special flavor.
