A proper English mixture composed of only the finest Virginia, Maryland and Burley tobaccos with a pinch of Latakia. The result is a remarkable blend that is medium-bodied and traditionally English in character.
The Consummate Gentleman is a mixture from middle-brown to black tobaccos. The cut-width is rather narrow, the lengths vary from shortly to long. The tobacco smells medium strong with what the spicy Latakia is clearly to recognize. The humidity is optimal so that the tobacco can immediately be plugged. The statements of the manufacturer differs from the expression on the can: According to the manufacturer, the Consummate Gentleman contains Virginia, Black Cavendish and Latakia to same shares - the imprint on the tin declares Virginia, Maryland, Burley and Latakia!
The Consummate Gentleman lets himself simply plug with the smoker's preferred method for rather fine Mixtures. Too firm plugging is to be avoided, although the tobacco doesn't tend to expand.
The Consummate Gentleman could be light up with 1 to 2 flames. It is hardly inclined to raising and normally, depressing isn't necessary.
The Consummate Gentleman is a mixture with high amount of Virginia. Therefore, it requires some attention with reference to the temperature. According to the taste, one is inclined to believe the manufacturer-statements: Sweet, ripe Virginia with a nutty grade, that however could come as well as from Burley or also from Black Cavendish and a clear amount of Latakia, that emphasizes the English Character. The taste is rather mild on that occasion, although the Consummate Gentleman has a medium strength. Glowing down is even with only little condensate, the ash is medium grey.
The redolence of the Consummate Gentleman has also a clear English character. The Latakia determines the smell, with what Virginia and Black Cavendish lets the redolence work somewhat more softly. The Consummate Gentleman nevertheless is sooner suitable for societies where English mixtures with Latakia are welcome.
The Consummate Gentleman is a mixture from middle-brown to black tobaccos with clearly English character. Latakia dominates both taste and redolence, with what the ripe sweetness of Virginia and a nutty grade of Black Cavendish pleasantly rounds off taste and smell. As all tobaccos with high amount of Virginia, the Consummate Gentleman must be smoked with attention to the temperature, so that it doesn't becomes vicious. However, glowing down then is slow and even with only little condensate. The easy handling and the balanced taste recommend the Consummate Gentleman for both the beginner and the lover of English mixtures with Latakia.
