Manufacturer Description:
Exquisite Orient tobaccos are accurately prepared and mixed with bright and red Virginias, which had been slightly parched. A superb English mixture with a little bit Latakia.
Characterisation:
EMP is a middle brown mixture, which is composed from different tobaccos: Bright brown Virginia, medium brown Orient and a few parts of dark brown to black Latakia. The smell is spicy with a sweetly smack and some Latakia. The cut is rather fine, small and – except the Virginia - not too long.
Plugging:
Due to the cut quality the tobacco could be plugged very well as mixtures, whereas it shouldn’t be plugged to compressed.
Light up:
Lighting up is uncomplicated. The tobacco tends somewhat to swell and often it’s enough to light up once and slightly dampen with the tamper.
Smoking properties:
In relation to condiment and Latakia the smoker expects a more milder taste, whereas the strength inherently could be rated medium. A smooth mixture, where all components come into one’s own. The fine condiment comes along with a light sweetly taste. The typical taste of Virginia is lacking, what indicates, that very mild Virginias were added, which lost their sourly spikes by parching. The tobacco shows very good smoking properties and with a little bit of attention, it could be smoked comfortable cool. The burning behavior is constant, what is also indicated by a fine, something darker ash, which will remain. Thereby the tobacco educe only a little bit condensate.
Redolency:
The redolence is typical English. Spicy and noticeable as smoky Latakia, but due to the mild Virginia not obtrusive. Nevertheless the EMP is more suitable for surroundings, which will accept the spicy, a little bit smoky redolence.
Conclusion:
A well done mixture, with a mild taste and medium strength. A tobacco for every daytime, which will make advances to enthusiasts of English mixtures with spicy Orient and a little bit smoky Latakia. In fact of it’s easy handling, this tobacco is recommended for any occasion, because it only needs sparse attention. EMP is recommended for newcomer to the world of English mixtures and smokers who want to change from naturally mixtures. With the more pleasing spicy redolence the EMP is limited socially acceptable, too.
