Characterisation:
The Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired are quite narrow (about 1.5 cm), very clean cut slices nicely stacked in the box and wrapped in golden paper. The flakes are dark brown with a few lighter inclusions. The scent is dark and full of promise: apricot, anise and spicy and tarry at the same time. You can smell the smoke will be strong. The humidity is as perfect as the cut and presentation.
Plugging:
The Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired is ideally suited to be bent and folded, but you can also rub it out smoke as a mixture. Do not plug too tight in both methods because tobacco will expand something under the flame and therefore requires space in the pipe. Tobacco residues laid on top will take the flame up quickly and provide a uniform glow.

The Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired is easy to ignite. At most, one can smooth the surface once inflamed with the tamper before finally ignite the whole filling.
Smoking properties:
The Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired tastes, as it smells out of the can: the smoked Burley gives a clear tart note, reminiscent of autumn and foliage burning in gardens. Taking the time to taste the nuances, so you will find the sweet flavors of Virginia: dark bread, dark chocolate and raisins. The tobacco is rich and not low in nicotine, but not too strong. However, the second half of the filling it is getting stronger. The remaining medium gray ash makes little trouble during cleaning.

Since it is cut very accurately and optimally conditioned, it can be plugged easily. Since Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired is a full-bodied tobacco it is not aimed at beginners. But who wants to dare to the heavy direction without going over the edge to the real strong flakes, will be satisfied by the uncomplicated nature of the Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired. Experienced smokers and lovers of stronger tobaccos will be satisfied as well, it is straightforward to smoke, not too strong and offers itself as a tobacco for every day.
