Manufacturer Description:
Macbeth is based on an old recipe, but the taste is still up to date. Enjoy the natural flavour of pure first choise Virginia in combination with Burley. Sometimes the most delicious things don´t need many ingredients. Macbeth is the best proof.
Characterisation:
The Macbeth looks in the fresh opened tin as a rather uniformly medium brown mixture, which immediately evolves a slightly fruity sweetness. The tobacco feels a little bit dampish, what’ll relativize if the tin was opened a few times. The cut is comfortable medium long, small and the tobacco feels smooth.
Plugging:
Due to the cut this tobacco could be easily plugged as any medium fine mixture with the smokers preferred method.
Light up:
The Macbeth tends a little bit to straighten up. Once dampened with the tamper a second flame will bring up the wanted constant glow.
Smoking properties:
The tobacco smokes pleasing mild with the same slightly sweetness in taste as the smell while opening the tin. Burning down is very good, whereby it’ll glow in spite of the fine cut rather slow. Therefore it could be smoked slowly and cool without too much attention. But overheating will be “prosecuted” with a sourly biting on the tongue, what nevertheless could be regulated by the drawing frequency. The pleasing sweetness and the mild taste deceives the smoker related to the strength: The Macbeth is a strong Mixture with a high level of nicotine! The tobacco glows with less condensate constant to the end, whereby the sweetly taste changes to pure tobacco, but without loosing any smoking pleasure. A medium to dark grey ash remains.
Redolency:
The Macbeth is the kind of tobacco which is for both the surrounding and the smoker very pleasant. The redolence is dominated by the unobtrusive sweetness too, as most people imagine a snugly, not too sweet pipe-tobacco.
Conclusion:
The Macbeth is a uniformly, medium brown mixture with a discreet sweetly smell, even though it is reported to be a mixture of unflavoured tobaccos. Mild taste and uncomplicated handling, but definitely strong. No tobacco for the early morning, but right after a good lunch or at the end of a warm summer evening. With a little bit attention burning down is cool and with less condensate. Thereby the discreet sweetness could be found in both the taste and the redolence, what makes this mixture suitable for most societies. If the strength will be attended the Macbeth is a recommendation for cautiously beginners and experienced enthusiasts of Virginia mixtures.
