Manufacturer Description:
Finest mellow Black Cavendish complements with bright and orange-red Virginia tobaccos, common and beamy cut, to a rich in contrast mixture. Refined with fruity orange and vanilla aromas and a hint of almond liqueur. Delicious in smell and taste.
Characterisation:
The Meistermischung No. 110 appears as a medium brown, short cut mixture, wherein the Black Cavendish stands out. Opening the tin an intensive fruity-aromatic smell is remarkable, which covers any smell of tobacco. Vanilla and almond are dominating the smell. The fresh tobacco feels a little bit dampish.
Plugging:
The tobacco could be plugged easy and fluffily. The different cuts avoid that the tobacco would be compressed too much and that the draw resistant would be to high.
Light up:
The Meistermischung No. 110 could be light up easy with one or two flames. The tobacco tends less to straighten up and after dampened down with the tamper it’ll glow to the end without any relighting.
Smoking properties:
The Meistermischung No. 110 is a more light mixture with definite aromatic character. The aromas of vanilla and almond are dominating after light up too. The taste is rounded by an acidly nuance, the tobacco itself is nearly not to taste. Burning down is constant and cool, the tobacco doesn’t tend to get too hot. While the tobacco glows down with a rather constant taste, a little bit condensate occurs, but doesn’t affect the smoking pleasure. The tobacco glows good-natured until it suddenly dies down. A balance of bright grey ash with a few darker parts remains.
Redolency:
The redolence is dominated by the aromas too. Now the vanilla aroma is more in the front and results with almond in a sweet but unobtrusive smell. Orange isn’t remarkable in the redolence. Through the pleasing smell the Meistermischung No. 110 should be welcome by the most occasions.
Conclusion:
The Meistermischung No. 110 is a medium brown, short cut mixture with intensive aromatic character. The aromas of vanilla and almond are dominating this tobacco in both taste and redolence. The tobacco is easy to handle and shows good burning properties. It glows down rather slow and cool with a little bit condensate.
Through the rough cut and the good burning properties the Meistermischung No. 110 is recommended for beginners as well as for the enthusiasts of aromatic mixtures. The tobacco is more light and well-tolerable.
