Characterisation:
The rectangular nostalgically designed representation box is located in a cardboard slipcase, which is just as lovingly nostalgic. If you open this, you will find a cellophane bag in which the tobacco is packed. Since neither the slip-on lid of the tin nor the bag is airtight, the Tradition No. 2 Limited Edition should be transferred to an airtight container for longer storage. The medium and light brown fibers are cut in different lengths and widths. Among them are plenty of medium-brown, yellow-speckled Ready Rubbed and a few Curlies of the same color. If you sniff the mixture, you can sense a fine natural tobacco sweetness and a hint of sourness. Despite the different shapes of tobacco, the moisture content is such that the tobacco can be plugged immediately.

Plugging:
To ease lighting and smoking of the Tradition No. 2 Limited Edition you should break up the Ready Rubbed and the Curlies a bit and choose a larger pipe to give the different tobaccos room to develop.

Light up:
Under the first flame, the compressed tobaccos of Tradition No. 2 Limited Edition significantly despite preparation. Due to the smoothening use of the tamper, you can achieve an even ember by the third flame at the latest, which will not disappoint until the end of the filling.


Smoking  properties:
The Tradition No. 2 Limited Edition is immediately powerful and smoky. If you let yourself in for a cozy smoke, you can taste the clear natural sweetness and the intense bread aromas. Both poles offer a wide space in which, depending on smoking behavior, you can playfully commute. Sometimes on the stronger side as well as on the milder side. This makes the course of smoke extremely varied. The compressed tobacco may require occasional pressing, but this is easy to do. The Virginia content also makes conscious puffing advisable. If you take this into account, only some very fine and light-colored ash and little condensate remain in the pipe.

Redolency:
The room note of the Tradition No. 2 Limited Edition is natural, not overly flashy, but as an observant person you should be considerate of non-smoking company.


Conclusion:
The Tradition No. 2 Limited Edition comes in a suitably nostalgic decorative box containing a tobacco that actually looks traditional. However, the rather light Virginia blend not only delivers what is to be expected, but also a quite powerful smoke that harmoniously combines bread, natural sweetness and spiciness, too. And this with quite simple smoking behavior. If you are not completely inexperienced in dealing with Virginia tobaccos and enjoy classic tobaccos, in Tradition No. 2 Limited Edition you will find a mixture with which you can spend nice, cozy hours.
