Balmoral Añejo XO Oscuro
The Balmoral Añejo XO family is being expanded with a brand new line: Balmoral Añejo XO Oscuro. A cigar line with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper that will now accompany the already well-known Balmoral Añejo XO.
“Añejo XO Oscuro” marks the second very personal series under the Balmoral Añejo XO family umbrella by Boris Wintermans, CEO of Royal Agio Cigar and 4th generation of the family business. His ongoing involvement in blending is clearly evident in this new Balmoral blend. To create this full-bodied blend, he works closely with Francisco Batista (Master Blender and Factory Director in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic).
With a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a binder of Dominican Olor, and a filler made from Nicaraguan Jalapa, Dominican Olor, and the exclusive Brazilian Mata Norte, this new full-bodied Añejo XO Oscuro offers a rich experience that envelops your palate with complex notes of bittersweet chocolate, espresso, and black pepper, finishing with a soft, natural sweetness.
Boris Wintermans: “Born out of passionate curiosity, Balmoral invites you to discover the perfect balance between sophisticated complexity and approachable lightness. Every carefully crafted blend for Añejo XO is the result of a relentless search for the top five percent of premium tobaccos, including our exclusive Brazilian Mata Norte. Endless, passionate curiosity is essential to discovering and enjoying the best experiences in life.”
