To suit each individual pipe smokers exacting needs, Alfred Dunhill recognises that a selection of pipes needs to be as varied as the pipe smokers tastes. Not all shapes and sizes of pipes can accommodate all mouthpieces.
All Alfred Dunhill pipes are stamped with a four digit code number:
1st digit = denotes the size of the pipe
2nd digit = denotes the style of the mouthpiece
3rd and 4th digits = denote the generic pipe shapee.g. 5102 (5=size 1=style of mouthpiece 02=Bent)
