Dos Maderas not only combines the best of two aging methods on opposite sides of the globe, but also brings together two cultures. On one side, there is the rum heritage of Barbados and Guyana in the Caribbean, and on the other side, there is the rich sherry tradition of Jerez in Spain, specifically that of the historic Bodega Williams & Humbert - one of the most renowned wine and spirits producers in the world. This sherry bodega was founded in 1877 and is currently run by the Medina family, who have been involved in the wine industry since the 1960s. After the initial aging in the tropics, these exceptional rum blends are transported to Spain to Bodegas Williams & Humbert. Here, they are further refined through an additional aging process in sherry casks.

Smell: Deep, versatile, full-bodied.
Taste: Long-aged, rounded rum with a very pleasant, sweet aftertaste.

Dos Maderas Selección is a blend of carefully selected casks from Dos Maderas 5+5 PX and blends of 10-year-old rums from Barbados and Guyana, previously matured in ex-Bourbon barrels. This unique blend is bottled at a cask strength of 42%.
