Dos Maderas not only combines the best of two aging methods on opposite sides of the globe, but also brings together two cultures. On one side, there is the rum heritage of Barbados and Guyana in the Caribbean, and on the other side, there is the rich sherry tradition of Jerez in Spain, specifically that of the historic Bodega Williams & Humbert - one of the most renowned wine and spirits producers in the world. This sherry bodega was founded in 1877 and is currently run by the Medina family, who have been involved in the wine industry since the 1960s. After the initial aging in the tropics, these exceptional rum blends are transported to Spain to Bodegas Williams & Humbert. Here, they are further refined through an additional aging process in sherry casks.

Smell: Robust, elegant, luxurious. Enjoyable aromas of vanilla, almond shells, tobacco, and black tea.
Taste: On the palate, it surprises with its pleasantly sweet character and an interesting interplay of marzipan, dried fruits, honey, and vanilla. The finish is pure smoothness.

Dos Maderas Luxus is a noble blend of smooth and intense rums from Barbados and Guyana. Initially, it matures for 10 years at its place of origin in the Caribbean before being transferred to the Spanish Sherry house Williams & Humbert. There, it undergoes an additional 5 years of aging through the Solera process in barrels that previously held "Don Guido" Sherry—a Pedro Ximénez Sherry with exceptional aromas and taste, recognized by the Consejo Regulador with an age classification of over 20 years. Dos Maderas, with its luxury rum, is dedicated to the protection of sea turtles in the Caribbean.
