Welcome to Sugarlandia Don Papa Rum is inspired by Sugarlandia, a mystical and seductive world where not everything is as it seems. Made in the fertile hills at the foot of Mount Kanlaon, where high-quality sugarcane is milled to produce sweet, rich molasses. Don Papa is a tribute to Papa Isio, the charismatic leader from the island of Negros in the Philippines. His legend played a significant role during the revolution in the 1890s when the island was striving for independence.

Smell: Wonderfully bold and powerful, with a distinct vanilla note and a hint of citrus fruits and sweet oak.
Taste: Soft and full-bodied, with a wonderful vanilla note, honey, and candied fruits.

Distilled from the special "Black Gold" molasses, Don Papa Baroko matures for several years in American white oak barrels at the foot of Mount Kanlaon on the island of Negros before blending contributes to a rich, smooth finish. The resulting rum-based spirit embodies the original style of Don Papa – an aroma bursting with citrus notes and vanilla, a rich and full-bodied taste with candied fruits and honey, and a long, robust finish with a touch of oak and spice. Baroko can unfold its perfection when enjoyed neat but also impresses when served on the rocks or in cocktails.
