Alec Bradley Prensado The Alec Bradley Prensado, a masterpiece of Alec Bradley cigar makers, represents a significant milestone in their history, having been named Cigar Aficionado's Cigar of the Year in 2011. This recognition is evidence of the brand's dedication to quality and craftsmanship, as showcased in the flawless composition of the Prensado. The cigar presents a unique blend of Central American tobaccos, with the filler consisting of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves, complemented by the Nicaraguan binder and beautifully wrapped in the oily, pressed wrapper leaf from the Trojes region in southern Honduras. This region, located on the opposite side of the mountains from Jalapa, Nicaragua, is known for its distinctive tobacco, which gives the Prensado a unique character. The Prensado offers a smoking experience of medium to full strength, delighting the palate with a harmonious interplay of rich flavors of cocoa, vanilla, cedar, and dried fruits. This combination leads to a deeply satisfying smoking experience. This cigar pays homage to traditional cigar-making techniques such as "Entubado" rolling, triple caps, and the square shape (box-pressed).
