These bands practically radiate on the true highlight: a magnificent Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper. The Sultan is rich, medium- to full-bodied. It delivers a spicy and creamy flavor profile, accompanied by an intense sweetness. The San Andrés wrapper embraces a Dominican binder and Dominican filler. As with all Platinum Nova releases, all tobaccos have been carefully aged over many years. Even after rolling, each cigar is given several months of rest before its release, allowing the flavors ample time to marry flawlessly. The result is a powerful, full-bodied smoking experience without any rough edges.
