The second series from Tonio's Tabaco is a successful continuation in every respect. Like the "Live Your Dreams" series, the "xReLaXx" cigars are also handmade at Plasencia in Nicaragua. In comparison to the first series, the "xReLaXx" is somewhat more restrained, but it is no less captivating to the palate. Cocoa and coffee aromas act as exciting counterparts to the woody and earthy base notes, which remain constantly present. The taste of almonds is also occasionally noticeable. A smoke with character, just the way we love it.

 

This is achieved through a blend of Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, wrapped in two binders from Indonesia and Nicaragua. The cigars get their dark color from the slightly rough Mexican San Andrés wrapper.

 

 

The cigars alone, due to their excellent flavor, would be reason enough to try this series. However, the unique packaging certainly adds another incentive. The cigars are delivered in a hand-painted, solid, gold-gloss glass shaped like a skull. It should be noted that the lid does not have a seal, and thus the glass cannot be recommended as a humidor.
