One of the Rarest Honeys in the World

Since 2016, Cornell & Diehl's Small Batch series has been releasing fantastic and imaginative limited-edition pipe tobacco blends. Following Carolina Red, the second Small Batch blend, Sun Bear Tupelo, has finally arrived in Germany.

Sun Bear Tupelo is a blend of the finest Bright and Red Virginias, balanced by the sweetness of Basma and Izmir oriental tobaccos. The tobaccos are gently flavored with a hint of white tequila and elderflower. The secret hero, however, is the third flavor component: Tupelo honey.

Tupelo honey is harvested from the nectar of the white Ogeechee Tupelo tree during its brief two-week blooming period, making it one of the rarest honey varieties in the world. It is primarily sourced from the swamp regions of North Florida and was named the state honey of Florida in 2016. It imparts a sweet, intensely creamy aroma.

Despite the three flavors, Sun Bear is more natural than highly aromatic. The flavors subtly support the tobaccos, resulting in a wonderfully fragrant room note.

Sun Bear is strictly limited, with only a small batch reaching Germany. So, grab it if you come across the sunny bear and enjoy its unique profile, which brings a refreshing character.
