Virginia and Black Cavendish are pressed in equal parts as Flake and prepared after a longer maturity period as ready to smoke Ready Rubbed. A wonderful floral-fruity aroma blends perfectly with the tobacco flavor. This ensures that all components are harmonious and optimally effective over the entire smoking season.
Characterisation:
When you open the round box immediately the intense scent stands out, which may indicate the used, but unspecified aroma. The Mike's Ready Rubbed smells sweet and sour-fruity, which is very reminiscent of redcurrants. The well prepared Ready Rubbed is narrow, but rather long cut and evenly light, medium and dark brown. Since the tobacco looks a bit damp, it can be pre-dried for half an hour before being plugged.
Plugging:
Like any Ready Rubbed Flake, the Mike's Ready Rubbed should be carefully stuffed, as the pressed tobacco fibers tend to expand under the flame. If you fill the pipe, which should not be too small, not too full and too tight, then the Mike's Ready Rubbed makes no further problems while plugging. A few loose crumbs as completion of the filling facilitate the subsequent lighting.
Light up:
After the first flame, gently smooth the Mike's Ready Rubbed with the tamper and then give fire again evenly. Then, however, the tobacco, like so many Ready Rubbed, provides a quiet burning.
Smoking properties:
The smoke of the Mike's Ready Rubbed is pleasantly soft and surprisingly juicy, which is very useful for the aroma, which is reminiscent of berries and is fruity sweet. In addition, there is an intense note of yeast bread and nuts, which harmonizes pleasantly with the fruit flavors and is rounded off by a light roasted note. Thanks to a completely unproblematic burning, only medium gray ash, few unburned crumbs and only a little condensate remain in the end.
Redolency:
The redolence of the Mike's Ready Rubbed is sweet and not intrusive, so it can be smoked in tolerant society.
Conclusion:
Meticulously stuffed and lighted, the Mike's Ready Rubbed is a tobacco uncomplicated to smoke that is also suitable for any time of day thanks to its medium strength. The Mike's Ready Rubbed is well worn and smells appetizing of red fruits. This aroma is also found in the smoke again. The tobacco does not only have a juicy aroma reminiscent of sweet berries, because the natural-looking flavors of yeasty bread and nuts intensify this impression. Overall, this results in the image of a tobacco whose thoroughly intensive aromatization enters into a harmonious connection with the basic tobaccos used.
