Manufacturer Description:
Virginia, Black Cavendish and mature Burley provide a harmonious taste with a beautiful balance and the scent of pineapple and walnut.
Characterisation:
The Auenland Evening Mixture is a blend of mid-brown tobaccos, with lighter and darker brown proportions that are long and cut irregularly wide. The odor from the tin is more reminiscent of peaches, with a slightly soapy and flowery fragrance. If you take it out of the tin the tobacco seems damp and somewhat sticky, so it should be allowed to pre-dry for a longer time before smoking.
Plugging:
Pre-dried and loosened, the Auenland Evening Mixture simply lets itself be plugged in the usual way: you start loosely down and become firmer towards the top.
Light up:
The Auenland Evening Mixture is easy to ignite after pre-drying. After the first flame, smooth the surface once with the tamper, then evenly fire again, then burns the Auenland Evening Mixture uncomplicated until the end of the filling.
Smoking properties:
The Auenland Evening Mixture looks almost like a natural Mixture. The smoke is quite vigorous, but not strong or even heavy in nicotine. Especially toasty flavors are to taste. These are accompanied by a milder, gentle spiciness, which reminds of fruit-sweetness paired with slightly tart nuttiness. Overall, the tobacco seems rather natural over the entire uncomplicated course of the smoke. In the end, only a little medium-gray ash and hardly any condensate remain to be cleaned.
Redolency:
The Auenland Evening Mixture is also in the room for natural tobacco and should therefore be enjoyed in a tolerant or smoking society.
Conclusion:
The Auenland Evening Mixture is a brown-shaded Mixture with a floral-fruity fragrance, which is rather discreetly found in the smoke. Overall, the tobacco is quite strong (but not stressful) and more natural. The light smoking makes it suitable for beginners, especially for those who want to taste a flavored tobacco, without being overwhelmed by a sweet Danish Mixture.
