Graham
John Graham's territory was Port Royal, Jamaica. When we think of Jamaica, we immediately think of sugarcane and highly aromatic coconuts. We immediately took advantage of both and infused the Graham with a generous portion of coconut. A sweet and tart blackberry flavor is masterfully complemented by the sweetness of the cane sugar. A hint of nuttiness underscores the flavors of the Burley, while Virginia Cube Cuts provide a cool burn. Black and Brown Cavendish complete this highly aromatic cigar. Light up and enjoy! One Love, Jamaica
Characterisation:
The nautical-blue, round tin of Caribbean Blue Graham contains a mixture of shorter medium, light and dark brown fibers wrapped in a paper rosette beneath the wrapper. The sweet, fruity aroma has a slightly alcoholic flavor and is very pleasantly appetizing. Since the Caribbean Blue Graham has a rather dry flavor in the freshly opened tin, the tobacco can be plugged immediately.
Plugging:
The low moisture content of the Caribbean Blue Graham makes the fibers easy to handle. The shorter cut is also ideal for filling the tobacco loosely in. If you press getting more firmly toward the top (but with care), you'll approach a filling that's easy to smoke.
Light up:
The not-too-moist fibers quickly catch the flame. Use the tamper to smooth the bed of embers and light the prepared surface a second time. The Caribbean Blue Graham will then smolder smooth and even.
Smoking properties:
Blackberries and cane sugar create a warm, berry sweetness that, together with the nuts, is reminiscent of baked goods with dried fruit. It's striking how soft the smoke from the Caribbean Blue Graham is on the tongue, leaving a smooth feeling. However, you should be careful not to get too greedy when smoking. Careful puffing prevents the tobacco from becoming too hot and potentially harsh. In addition to the aroma, the Caribbean Blue Graham also allows the base tobaccos room to develop their flavors. Spicy Burley and toasted bread of Virginia are noticeable, not just towards the end when the casing fades into the background. When the Caribbean Blue Graham goes out, all that remains is a bit of medium-grey ash to clean up.
Redolency:
The Caribbean Blue Graham is particularly present in the room with its warm, sweet aroma. With due consideration, this shouldn't significantly bother tolerant non-smokers.
Conclusion:
The maritime-inspired packaged blend in various brown tones is easy to plug and light thanks to its moderate moisture content. However, you should be somewhat familiar with the characteristics of flavored tobaccos. The Caribbean Blue Graham unfolds its aroma best when puffed leisurely. Sweet berries and nutty cake flavors then caress the tongue. The quality of the balanced composition is evident in the fact that the aroma, which is not in the least bit artificial, also allows room for the spicy base tobaccos. Because the tobacco is not too strong, the Caribbean Blue Graham can be smoked on any occasion, at least when time permits. This tobacco invites more experienced smokers, in particular, to indulge in enjoyable leisurely moments.
