Trinidad Short celebrates the Chinese New Year with a new, exclusive special edition. The Chinese New Year in 2024, the Year of the Dragon, begins on February 10th. According to Chinese mythology, the dragon is a symbol of wealth, kindness, intelligence, and luck. In honor of this occasion, alongside Cohiba, the Trinidad brand presents a special cedarwood box containing 66 short cigars, distinguished by a particularly high-quality design: an eye-catching golden dragon symbol is featured on the lacquered surface.

The Trinidad Short Year of the Dragon Edition is globally limited to 21,000 numbered units. The production takes place exclusively at the premium cigarillo manufacturer Internacional Cubana de Tabacos in Havana. Introduced in 2018, the Trinidad Short, alongside Cohiba and Montecristo Short, is the only Cuban top brand with this unique and innovative format. Trinidad is named after the city built in the 16th century, La Santisima Trinidad (The Holy Trinity). The brand has existed since 1969 and, like Cohiba, was initially produced exclusively for foreign diplomats at the flagship El Laguito factory. It wasn't until 1998 that it was released for general sale.
