ANN-EKS Hannelore Rum Mauritius – Exotic Flair from the Indian Ocean
A spirited whirlwind far from the Caribbean
Hannelore is an exception. Her roots lie not in the Caribbean, but on the volcanic island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. In a place where the Dutch began cultivating sugarcane as early as the 17th century, this special rum matures under perfect climatic conditions. It is based exclusively on the finest sugarcane molasses from the west of the island.
After five years of primary maturation using the Solera process, which ensures consistent and reliable quality, comes the grand finale: an eight-month finish in selected sweet wine casks. This combination grants Hannelore her elegant mildness paired with intense flavor and a mysterious dark-shimmering appearance.
Color: Mysterious dark amber
Aroma: Intense bouquet with notes of molasses, tropical fruits, and honey.
Taste: A trinity of sweetness, fruitiness, and spice. The palate reveals vanilla, caramel, nuts, and a hint of chocolate, leading into a smooth and long-lasting finish.
