Classically English pipe tobacco medium cut. Gold - yellow Virginia is the basis, round through spicy Burleys, smoky Latakia and strengthen Kentucky.

Characterisation:
The Burlington's Blue Label is a medium strong, English Mixture with a moderate share of Latakia. The brightly to dark brown tobaccos are cut relatively small and differently long. The tobacco smells unequivocally of Latakia, but harmoniously rounded through Virginia and strong Kentucky. The moisture is optimal.

Plugging:
The Burlington's Blue Label could be plugged simply and well on grounds of its rather fine cut. However, it leads to plug too firmly, which one should avoid.

Light up:
The Burlington's Blue Label could be light up easily with 1 to 2 flames. It nearly doesn't tend to straighten up and glows equally from the beginning.

Smoking  properties:
The Burlington's Blue Label is an very agreeable English tobacco with Latakia. The dark, strong Kentucky takes a little bit from the spiciness of the Latakia, the Virginia gives some sweetness and the Burley a nutty aftertaste. All together combined yields a delicious, tobacco-real taste, that is exceptionally not dominated by Latakia. In order to guarantee these nuances, one must smoke the Burlington's Blue Label however very alertly and as cool as possible. Too high temperature punishes the Virginia with an acid biting. If one keeps an eye on it, the tobacco glows down good-naturedly with little condensate to a light grey ash. The strength of the Burlington's Blue Label is to grade medium.

Redolency:
The redolence of the Burlington's Blue Label is tobacco-real "English", but not dominated from Latakia, even if one can clearly recognize it. The combination of the individual tobaccos, that have all their own character, admittedly yields a strong, but nevertheless agreeable smell. The Burlington's Blue Label should be everywhere welcome, where smoking is allowed.

Conclusion:
The Burlington's Blue Label is a medium strong, English mixture of bright to dark brown tobaccos, that are cut relatively small and differently long. Latakia is clearly recognizable, but not dominant. Each tobacco gives a part of its own character to the mixture, so that a palatable, pleasant, even medium strong, mixture originates. In order to bring the nuances of the individual tobaccos fully to the validity, the Burlington's Blue Label must be smoked as cool as possible, if not the Virginia becomes somewhat vicious. Otherwise the tobacco glows down good-naturedly with little condensate, with what a strong, but quite agreeable redolence is created. Due to the relatively simple handling of the Burlington's Blue Label, and an interesting smoke-enjoyment, it is very commendable for beginners, who would like to get into the world of English tobaccos. For the experienced smoker it would be even a recommendation as "All-Day's Mixture" if one likes Kentucky beside Latakia.
