The Sissinghurst is an aromatic mixture based on ready rubbed Virginia flake, Brown Kentucky and Bright Virginia leaf. A tangy-floral aroma delivers distinct character. The outstanding tobacco basis adds harmoneously to the classic English-floral style. Sissinghurst, is a full aromatic temptation for an appealing smoking pleasure.
In the tin of Sissinghurst there is a finely loosened Ready Rubbed, which is narrow but has a longer cut. The medium brown pieces are uniformly interspersed with light and dark brown and smell floral sweetly of rose petals and fresh of lemon. The loose tobacco is not noticeable due to the fine preparation, but is also harmoniously embedded into the overall picture. You hardly have to let the Sissinghurst pre-dry, since the tobacco is so well conditioned in the tin that it can be given in the pipe immediately.
The Ready Rubbed components of the Sissinghurst are finely rubbed, which means that the plugging is easy. It is best to proceed as with a loose Mixture and start loosely at the bottom of the pipe and gently become firmer towards the top. Since Ready Rubbed is included, however, you can be careful not to fill the tobacco too tightly and not to make the pipe too full so that it can expand. The aroma can settle in the pipe, so you should not use a pipe for natural tobacco for the Sissinghurst.
Just as with plugging, the Sissinghurst hardly needs attention when lighting. First the surface is ignited evenly, then you gently smooth it with the tamper and use the second flame to create a persistent ember bed.
The Sissinghurst also shows its interesting aroma in the smoke, which you can already smell. Connoisseurs like to attribute this perfume-like and slightly soapy note to Irish blends. In the Sissinghurst, however, the aroma is not obtrusive, but harmonises pleasantly with the basic tobacco. These are, on the one hand, Virginia with hints of hay, grass and a dark sweetness, which is reminiscent of fruits, but also honey. The Kentucky, however, shows its usual spicy and smoky with an additional wood note. Above that lies the delicate aroma, which can always be tasted to the last third of the filling, which conveys both sweet floral notes and fresher citrus scents between lemon and orange. The burning is remarkably cool and uncomplicated for an aromatic. This leaves little condensate and a little medium gray ash.
The smoke of the Sissinghurst is quite pleasant due to the sweet aroma, so that the tobacco can meet with goodwill in society.
The Sissinghurst is an easy-to-use Mixture of medium-brown tobacco with a Ready Rubbed, which is also suitable for beginners. The medium strength and the not too intense Irish aroma make the Sissinghurst an interesting experience for lovers of aromatic tobacco or those who want to become one. In addition, the basic tobacco with hay and spicy-smoky notes also come into play, so that there is a coherent overall picture. Every smoker should decide for themselves whether the not quite everyday floral aroma is something for every occasion, the Sissinghurst is not stressful in any case, but is also very suitable as a kind of dessert after a good meal.
