Carefully selected imported tobaccos from the best growing areas in the world complement each other to create a balanced blend, which is refined with the fruity aroma of ripe cherries.
If one chooses the No. 3 in the pouch, so you can take it well on your way. In the tin, on the other hand, it is better suited for longer storage, even when it is still opened. The fibers are curled, some cut longer and also some leaf ribs can be found. Light brown is the predominant color, but with medium brown proportions. The scent is sweetish, alcoholic and reminiscent of Amarena cherries. Since the tobacco does not appear too moist between the fingers, it can be brought into the pipe immediately and without pre-drying.
Despite the somewhat irregular composition of the no. 3 you can plug the tobacco as usual for loose Mixtures. With a relaxed beginning and a little more tight ending, you do not go wrong, but it takes some practice to find the right mediocrity and not have to use the tamper too often while smoking.
It may well require three flames until the No. 3 is ignited evenly. In between you should try to smoothen the surface with the tamper to create an uniform ember bed.
The No. 3 is a pleasantly spicy and smoky tobacco, which initially appears quite natural. It also scores with typical tobacco flavors, such as toasted bread and nuts, which are based on Virginia and Burley as a basis. These natural flavors are accompanied by a fine sweetness whose subtle juiciness can be ascribed to the cherry flavor used, but without this being intrusive. This harmoniously rounded combination of natural tobacco flavors with the casing holds up to the last third of the filling, until one then has the final feeling of smoking a natural tobacco. If you uses occasionally the tamper, the No. 3 smolders quite uncomplicated to a dark gray ash. Some condensate is also visible, but this is relatively few for an aromatized tobacco and is also easy to remove.
The redolence of No. 3 is more likely to be seen as pure tobacco, but since the sweetish aroma is also to be sniffed, the tobacco can be smoked in tolerant society.
The somewhat inconsistent cutting of the predominantly light brown No. 3 requires some attention when plugging and lighting. So you should bring some experience, also because the tobacco needs in between the tamper, so that the puffing is right. But then the No. 3 shows that cherry flavored tobacco does not necessarily have to be a flavor-bomb. The cherry flavor in this case serves more as an underpainting of the basic tobaccos, whose roasted bread aromas and nuttiness receive a soft, sweet rounding, which harmonizes well with each other. The No. 3 is therefore ideal for those who are looking for a flavored blend, but do not want to miss out on the natural properties of the tobaccos.
