LEGACY COLLECTION PORT GUARDIAN – A Characterful Danish-Style Red Virginia Flake
Port Guardian from the Per Jensen Legacy Collection is an expressive flake that reflects Per Georg Jensen’s blending tradition and distinctive talent for creating exceptional tobacco compositions. Developed in collaboration with Cornell & Diehl, this mixture brings together the experience of two renowned blenders: Per Georg Jensen and Jeremy Reeves.
At its heart is a classic Danish-style Red Virginia Flake with a rich and balanced character. The deep, natural sweetness of the Red Virginias provides the foundation, complemented by subtle notes of dark citrus and lively spice that add further expression and complexity to the blend.
Throughout the smoke, Port Guardian develops calmly and evenly. Its slow burn allows the different flavors to unfold gradually and harmoniously. Smooth and rounded on the palate, the flake combines its fruity and spicy nuances with a pleasant sense of depth.
Port Guardian brings together classic Virginia character and the craftsmanship of two experienced blenders. A harmonious yet spirited composition that pays tribute to the Jensen family’s enduring heritage and long-standing connection to pipe tobacco culture.
